Our offices

Our Lakeland and The Villages Offices

Two Central Florida offices, one practice, one Doctor of Chiropractic. Pick whichever drive is shorter and you get the same lineup of care either way.

  • Two Florida offices
  • One service lineup
  • 22 years in practice
  • $47 new-patient exam

ChiroMed runs two offices in Central Florida. Neither one is a satellite of the other. Dr. Justin Bergin, DC leads both, he has 22 years in practice, and both offices run the same care on the same unhurried model. Which one you choose comes down to which drive is shorter. One sits in South Lakeland on Florida Avenue, in Polk County. The other sits in Lady Lake on US-441, serving The Villages and the surrounding Lake, Sumter and Marion county communities. Each office page below carries that location's own address, phone number, treating days, neighborhoods, parking notes, directions and booking form. Check the treating days before you call, because they differ between the two.

Our Lakeland Office on Florida Avenue South

Open Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Tuesday and Friday are by appointment. Closed Saturday and Sunday.

This is the busier of the two offices. It is a quick turn off the Polk Parkway and a short run down Florida Avenue from Southgate Shopping Center. Directions, parking and the questions Polk County patients ask most are on the page for our Florida Ave S office in South Lakeland.

Our Lady Lake Office Serving The Villages

Open Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Tuesday and Friday by appointment. Closed Saturday and Sunday.

Golf-cart access and the distance from each town square are covered on the page for our Lady Lake office serving The Villages. So are the questions Villages patients ask most.

The Two Areas We Serve

The two offices serve two different parts of Central Florida, and the patients are not the same.

Polk County, from the Lakeland office. South Lakeland first, then Highland City, Christina, Grasslands, Highlands, Scott Lake, Dixieland and Cleveland Heights. Patients arrive off the Polk Parkway and Harden Blvd, and a large share of them are still working. Crash injuries, desk necks, lifting backs, knees that have to hold up through a shift. Care here is usually built around getting someone back to work without losing weeks to it.

Lake, Sumter and Marion counties, from the Lady Lake office. The Villages, Lady Lake, Summerfield, Wildwood, Oxford, Fruitland Park and Leesburg. This is a retirement area with an active population. The problems reflect that: spinal stenosis, neuropathy, knees and shoulders with decades on them, balance, bladder control, sexual wellness. Patients here want to garden on Sunday without paying for it on Monday, stay on the pickleball court, and keep driving themselves.

Dr. Justin Bergin, DC works out what is actually driving the problem in front of him, then treats that, at either office. Call whichever one is closer and book the consultation, exam, X-rays if needed and report of findings.

How Payment Works at Both Offices

What you pay depends on which service you are having. Chiropractic care at ChiroMed bills insurance, and our team verifies your benefits before your first visit. The regenerative, metabolic and sexual-wellness programs are cash pay, and you are told that before you commit to anything. Payment plans are available for self-pay care. Ask the front desk which plan fits your course of care.

New patients at either office start the same way: consultation, exam, X-rays if needed, and report of findings, for $47. Behind that first visit is the concierge model both offices are built on. It is why appointments here run longer than you may be used to.

Book at the Office That Is Closer

Chiropractors are licensed to examine and diagnose before they treat. The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health's plain-language overview of chiropractic sets out what that examination should involve. That is what the first visit at either office is for.

Common questions

Our offices questions

Yes. Both run the same lineup: chiropractic care, spinal and knee decompression, Omniwave shockwave, Neuromed electroanalgesia, cold laser, plus the metabolic, functional and sexual-wellness programs. Dr. Justin Bergin, DC directs care at both. If you start at one office and later find the other easier to reach, your file moves with you. Nobody restarts your history from scratch.

You can, but scheduling is held per office because the treating days differ. Lakeland treats Monday, Wednesday and Thursday with Tuesday and Friday by appointment. Lady Lake treats Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, with Tuesday and Friday by appointment. Call the office you want rather than assuming a slot transfers, and ask which one has the sooner opening.

Distance, almost always. Patients across Polk County and South Lakeland use the Florida Avenue office. Patients in The Villages, Lady Lake, Summerfield, Wildwood, Oxford, Fruitland Park and Leesburg use the Lady Lake office on US-441. The care plan is the same either way, so pick the drive you will actually keep doing twice a week.

Roughly ninety miles by road, which is about a ninety-minute drive up the middle of the state. They serve two separate markets: Polk County in the south, and the Lake, Sumter and Marion county corridor in the north. Nobody is ever expected to travel between them.

The model is the same at both. Chiropractic care bills insurance and the front desk verifies your benefits before your first visit. The regenerative, metabolic and sexual-wellness lines are cash pay at both addresses. Medicare coverage varies by plan and by service. The office you book with will tell you exactly what applies before you commit to anything.

Ask who will actually treat you and what their credential is. Ask whether you get an examination and a written report before a plan is quoted, and whether the cost is put in writing first. Ask what happens if you are not a candidate. A practice that will tell you no at the first visit is worth more than one that sells a package to everybody who walks in.

Same-week appointments

Whichever office is closer.

Both run the full ChiroMed lineup, and Dr. Bergin examines at both.
