How much does a weight loss clinic cost?

Is a weight loss clinic worth it?
It is worth it if the clinic tests rather than guesses. A program that never looks at your thyroid, your fasting insulin or your inflammatory markers is just selling you a diet. For your money you should expect lab work and someone to read it with you. You should also expect medical oversight of anything prescribed, and a plan that changes when your numbers change.
What is the best doctor to see for weight loss?
Look for three things rather than a specialty label. Someone who orders real lab work and reads it with you. Someone who supervises medication properly instead of issuing repeats. Someone who will tell you when weight is not your main problem. Care here is medically supervised and led by a Doctor of Chiropractic, with nutrition and functional testing in the same building.
What is the most successful weight loss treatment?
It varies by person, and the research points at combinations rather than one single treatment. Medication changes your appetite and how you handle glucose. Nutrition changes what you eat. Exercise changes what your muscles do with it. Sleep and stress change the hormones behind all three. A plan that works on one and ignores the rest is the one you are most likely to rebound from.
Do you prescribe GLP-1 medication?
Yes, where it is appropriate, and it is medically supervised. It is not automatic, and not everyone is a candidate. We review it rather than issuing repeats. Your lab work, your history and your other medication decide whether it belongs in your plan. Anyone offering it without lab work and without oversight is cutting a corner that matters.
Will insurance cover medical weight loss?
Medical weight loss is self-pay. Coverage for weight management varies a great deal by plan and by service, and for most of our patients it does not apply. Payment plans are available for self-pay care. Ask the front desk which plan fits your course of care.
