There is a group of patients at this office who cannot be treated the ordinary way, at least not yet. The knee flares for two days after anyone leans on it.

What cold laser therapy is
Cold laser therapy, also called low-level laser therapy or photobiomodulation, delivers light at particular wavelengths into tissue at a power far below anything that cuts or heats. A handheld applicator is held over the area and you wear protective eyewear. There is no wound, no downtime and nothing to recover from afterwards.
What light is useful for here can be said plainly. It puts no mechanical load into tissue.
That lets it reach areas hands or a table cannot get near while they are this irritable, and it can be enough comfort for the rest of a plan to begin.

Does it hurt, and can I drive myself home afterwards?
There is little to feel. Some notice a mild warmth over the area, and some notice nothing at all. Nothing is inserted, nothing is pressed hard and no skin is broken, so there is no dressing, no soreness to sleep off and no reason you cannot drive yourself back. Run south on US-441 toward the CR 466 junction and watch the east side of the road before you reach the lights. The building sits back from the carriageway, and 404 is the number on the door. Parking is on the flat immediately outside. Coming the other way from Fruitland Park or Leesburg you approach from the south and pass the 466 lights first, so allow a few extra minutes there in the morning.
