Medically reviewed by Dr. Justin Bergin, DC Updated September 18, 2026

Has the distance you can walk started to shrink?

The complaint that walks through this door is often not pain at all. It is distance. You used to get round the whole square, and now you manage two hundred yards before the legs ache and you look for a bench.

Leaning on a shopping cart helps, which is a clue.

What else brings people through this door?

Others come in about feet gone numb enough to make the pedals feel wrong, or a bladder that plans the day before they do.

Some arrive with a spine operated on eighteen months ago that still has not given back the movement it borrowed.

They are the quiet reason people here stop driving and stop traveling.

Who decides which of these is mechanical?

Dr. Justin Bergin, DC has spent 22 years sorting out which respond to mechanical care and which need a surgeon.

That decision is made at the examination, not on the phone.

Disc and nerve rehabilitation at the Lady Lake office is non-surgical care for structures that press on or irritate nerves: worn discs, narrowed canals, nerve symptoms in the feet, pelvic floor weakness, and movement lost after an operation. Dr. Justin Bergin, DC reads your films before anything is booked.

What we do at our Lady Lake office

Both ChiroMed offices deliver the same lineup, so nothing on this page is a redirect to somewhere else. These are the six disciplines a plan is built from.

The Four Programs, and What Each One Is For

Each runs at this address.

Spinal decompression, for a disc or a canal out of room

Here computer-controlled traction is used as often for degenerative narrowing as for a frank herniation: the walking distance that keeps shrinking, the leg ache that eases the moment you lean forward on a cart. Your films decide whether it is reasonable, not a phone call. See what decompression looks like on a three-day schedule here.

Neuromed electroanalgesia, for nerve pain and numb feet

Neuromed runs as a course, aimed at circulation, symptom control, balance and sleep. Established nerve damage is not undone, and any clinic promising otherwise is selling something. What can change is how much the feet burn at night and how steady you are getting out of a chair. Read how the Neuromed course is run at this office.

Pelvic floor recovery, for a bladder that plans your day

People here were often told to do exercises nobody showed them, then rearranged life around bathroom locations. This program treats the pelvis as part of the spine it belongs to. See the pelvic floor program run on these three treating days.

Post-surgical recovery, for movement the operation did not give back

An operation fixes a structure; it does not restore what stiffened while that structure was protected. This market holds many people a year or two out from surgery, discharged from therapy long before they felt normal.

Work here is graded: mobility, soft tissue, then progressive loading, timed around your surgeon's restrictions. Read about getting movement back after a knee or spine operation.

What a Course Looks Like Around Three Treating Days

This office treats Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Tuesday and Friday are by appointment, and this office is closed Saturday and Sunday.

The two offices do not keep the same week. Check the schedule kept at our Lakeland office separately.

Rehabilitation depends on turning up, so a three-day week is worth planning around. Visits are set at the report of findings, then reviewed against what you told us at the start: walking distance, burning at night, trips to the bathroom, stairs. Those are the measures, not a pain score.

How This Care Is Paid For at This Office

Chiropractic care at ChiroMed bills insurance, and our team verifies your benefits before your first visit. Coverage for the decompression and electroanalgesia protocols varies by plan and by service.

It matters more here, because Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans are in play at this desk. The front desk checks your policy and tells you exactly what applies before you commit to anything.

New patients start on the same offer at both offices: Consultation, Exam, X-Rays (If Needed) & Report of Findings: Only $47.

Why This Office for Disc and Nerve Work

A narrowed canal, an irritated nerve and the rehabilitation that follows usually mean three practices and three sets of paperwork.

Here decompression, electroanalgesia, pelvic floor rehabilitation and post-operative work sit under one Doctor of Chiropractic on one written plan, for patients across Sumter, Lake and Marion counties.

For a pain control clinic that gap matters more at 74 than at 40, when a referral you chase can cost you a season.

Dr. Justin Bergin, DC reads your films himself before anyone is booked onto a table, and he will tell you when decompression is wrong for your disc.

This is the newer of our two offices and its review file is short. What stands behind the care is 22 years, non-surgical, and a referral out when right.

Opening days and access are on our office page above the CR 466 junction.

See disc and nerve rehabilitation at both offices.

What we are near

Where exactly is suite 404?

We are on North US-441 just above the CR 466 junction, in suite 404.

Everything is at ground level, with parking outside and no stairs between car and treatment room. That is the first thing people with a narrowed canal or a new knee ask.

Can I come by golf cart?

Plenty of patients come by golf cart, and cart routes change.

Call (352) 915-7150 for the current route and where to leave it.

Which of the three squares are you coming from?

Spanish Springs Town Square is the nearest of the three squares, Lake Sumter Landing an easy drive, Brownwood Paddock Square the longest run.

How far do patients travel to this address?

Patients travel in from across The Villages and from Lady Lake, Summerfield, Wildwood, Oxford, Fruitland Park and Leesburg, ten miles south east, across Sumter, Lake and Marion counties.

Ocala National Forest sits fifteen miles north.

Which hospital is nearby?

UF Health The Villages Hospital is close by, and we are not affiliated with it.

Our Lady Lake office is a short drive from the Lake-Sumter State College campus in Leesburg, and we serve the same tri-county community. We are not affiliated with the college.

ChiroMed is an independent practice. Naming nearby hospitals, colleges or landmarks describes where we are, not who we are affiliated with. There is no affiliation, partnership or endorsement of any kind.

Is Dr. Bergin the one treating me at the Lady Lake office?

Yes. Dr. Justin Bergin, DC sees patients at both offices, and he performs the examination and reads your X-rays himself at this address, 22 years into practice. He is also the one who tells you when a problem belongs with a surgeon, a neurologist or your own physician instead. The treating days at this address are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Call (352) 915-7150 to check what is open.

the clinic team
How soon could I start if I call this week?

Same-week is usually realistic, and it is worth asking rather than assuming. This address treats Monday, Wednesday and Thursday in a morning block and an afternoon block, with Tuesday and Friday by appointment. There are fewer slots than at a clinic open six days. New and worsening nerve symptoms get moved up the list. Bring any MRI or X-rays you already have, because recent imaging often shortens the first visit considerably.

the clinic team
Is the decompression and nerve equipment at Lady Lake, or would I drive to Lakeland?

Both offices run the same service lineup, so the programs described on this page are delivered at the Lady Lake address. Equipment can move between two offices under one practice, so if a specific piece of care is the whole reason for your trip, call (352) 915-7150 first and have the front desk confirm it before you get in the car. Nobody should drive in from Summerfield or Wildwood to find out at the door.

the clinic team
Will Medicare pay for decompression or electroanalgesia here?

Coverage varies by plan and by service, and this is one of the least consistent areas in musculoskeletal care. Medicare treats spinal manipulation differently from therapies delivered by a device, and Advantage and supplement plans differ again. Chiropractic care at ChiroMed bills insurance and our team verifies your benefits before your first visit. The front desk will tell you exactly what applies to your plan before you commit to anything.

the clinic team
Can I come by golf cart, and will I be able to drive myself home?

Patients drive themselves home. Nothing in these programs involves sedation, an anesthetic or an injection, so there is no recovery period to arrange a ride around. Carts are common here and cart routes change, so call the office and the front desk will give you the current route and tell you where to park it. Suite 404 is at ground level with parking outside the door, no stairs and no garage.
