What brings a worn joint through the Lady Lake door?
Nobody in this community retires in order to sit still. The shoulders, knees, hips and heels that come through the Lady Lake door have been worked hard for decades, then asked to keep going through a golf season, a pickleball ladder and a garden that will not weed itself.
What does the complaint sound like when people ring?
The complaint is rarely dramatic. It is a knee that has quietly stopped doing stairs, or a heel that is worst on the first walk of the morning.
Has someone already mentioned a replacement?
People arrive here having already been told the joint is worn and a replacement is the next conversation.
This page is about what sits in front of that conversation, and how that care runs from a three-day treating schedule on North US-441.
Joint and tendon recovery at the Lady Lake office is non-surgical care for worn joints and tendon problems that have outlasted rest. Three things do the work: Omniwave acoustic wave therapy, knee decompression and hands-on soft tissue therapy. Dr. Justin Bergin, DC examines the joint first, along with the joints above and below it, then tells you whether this suits you.

What we are near
Where exactly is the Lady Lake office?
The office sits on North US-441 a little above the CR 466 junction, in suite 404.
Parking is ground level and directly outside, so there is no garage ramp and no flight of stairs between the car and the door, which matters when the knee is the reason you came.
How do the squares and the cart paths line up with it?
Golf carts are a normal way to arrive here, and because paths and crossings get altered, the desk talks you through the current way in when you ring.
Spanish Springs Town Square is the nearest of the three squares, Lake Sumter Landing is an easy run, and Brownwood Paddock Square is the longest.
Which towns do patients travel in from?
Patients also come from Summerfield, Wildwood, Oxford, Fruitland Park and Leesburg, across Sumter, Lake and Marion counties.
UF Health The Villages Hospital is close by, and we are not affiliated with it.
Our Lady Lake office is a short drive from the Lake-Sumter State College campus in Leesburg, and we serve the same tri-county community. We are not affiliated with the college.
ChiroMed is an independent practice. Naming nearby hospitals, colleges or landmarks describes where we are, not who we are affiliated with. There is no affiliation, partnership or endorsement of any kind.

Is there a review here about joints or tendons?
Lady Lake is newer than Lakeland and has few reviews. No review here mentions joints or tendons, so none is shown.

Regenerative Medicine in The Villages questions
Tap a message for the honest answer. Call The Villages (352) 915-7150
Which days can I be seen for a knee or a shoulder at the Lady Lake office?
This office treats Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM and again from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Tuesday and Friday are by appointment, and it is closed Saturday and Sunday. That is not the same schedule as our Lakeland office, so do not plan your week from hours you saw listed for the other address. That office's treating days are set out on the Lakeland office page and its hours. Call (352) 915-7150 and ask what is open. A joint that has just given way gets moved up the list.
Where do I park, and can I come over by golf cart?
Parking is ground level and right outside suite 404, with no garage to circle and no stairs to manage on the way in. That is worth knowing when the knee is the problem you are coming about. Plenty of patients here arrive by cart. Routes and crossings get changed, so ring (352) 915-7150 and the front desk will talk you through the current way in from your village and where to leave it. For a car, the satnav address is 929 US-441 #404, Lady Lake, FL 32159.
Does Medicare pay for shockwave therapy or knee decompression?
Acoustic wave therapy and knee decompression are self-pay here. Coverage varies by plan and by service, and Medicare Advantage plans differ from one another as well, so the front desk checks yours rather than guessing for you. Chiropractic care at ChiroMed does bill insurance, and your benefits are verified before the first visit. Payment plans are available for self-pay care.
Can I keep playing golf and pickleball while the joint is being treated?
Usually some of it, and that is a conversation worth having at the examination rather than three weeks in. Dr. Justin Bergin, DC will tell you which movements are loading the tissue you are trying to settle and which are fine to carry on with. A joint asked for three rounds and two ladders a week is being asked to settle and to carry a full load at the same time. Giving everything up for months is rarely necessary either, and we will say so.
Is Dr. Bergin the one who treats me at this office?
Yes. He treats at both offices and performs the examination here himself, 22 years into practice. He is the clinician you see at this address. He will also tell you plainly when a joint belongs with an orthopedic surgeon instead of with us, which is a large part of what the first visit is for.
